Help Needed for the Libertarian National Convention

I am packing and getting ready to leave for the Libertarian National
Convention in Las Vegas.

I will be bringing family members with me. I have booked a room at the
Imperial Palace Hotel as the Red Rock Resort is booked solid.

We will all arrive on May 2.

I need your help in getting tokens. I am not sure of the latest but I
think 60 tokens are necessary to be allowed to debate and 30 are
required to get on the ballot.

This past week I attended Libertarian conventions in Wisconsin-
Minnesota, New York and Pennsylvania. However, only a few of those
present are planning to go to Las Vegas.

I am well aware that the convention will likely feature a stampede in
favor of the nomination of Gary Johnson. I agree that he is an
excellent candidate, and certainly far better than any other
Republican who has ever sought our nomination. He will also make a
great president, if elected. I will strongly support him if he is the
nominee. I am certain that he would made a better president than
either Obama or Romney. I hope that My Fellow Americans will come to
realize the same thing in time.

However, he is a Republican. Also, he will not be able to debate if
there are no other debaters. He needs at least one opponent.

Some of the other so-called Libertarian candidates are poor in my
opinion. At least one or two are not Libertarians at all. I think that
if I am allowed to debate it will easily be seen that I am by far the
best alternative to Gary Johnson.

I am also the only candidate with qualifications and accomplishments
outside of politics. Here are some of my qualifications:

I argued orally before the US Supreme Court, the only non-lawyer to do
so in one hundred years. I won the case, SEC vs. Samuel H. Sloan, 436
US 103 (1978).

I am a well known book publisher. My company, Ishi Press, has
published 352 books, including many with Libertarian themes. I am the
author of six books.

I am publishing a book entitled "Ron Paul for President in 2012 Yes to
Ron Paul and Liberty" by a man I met at the Wisconsin-Minnesota
Libertarian Convention. I hope to have it published and out in time to
be helpful. ISBN 4871873234 I also have several more book projects in
the works by other Libertarians.

I am a rated tournament chess player. I won a hotly contested election
to the Executive Board of the United States Chess Federation. I am one
of the best known chess players in the world. There are 600,000 rated
tournament chess players in the United States. Almost all of them have
heard of me and will vote for me if I get on the ballot.

I was President of the Sexual Freedom League at the University of
California at Berkeley in the 1960s.

If you think you have heard of me somewhere, you probably have. A
Wikipedia profile of me is published at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Sloan

In view of these qualifications I believe that I should be allowed to
debate. However, I need your help, especially since certain party
members want to exclude me. I was not allowed to debate at the New
York Libertarian Convention even though I had received an email from
the Chairman saying that I would be allowed to debate and I had flown
from San Francisco to New York in order to participate.

Therefore, could you please ask anyone you know to give me a token so
that will be allowed to debate?

Sam, I suppose you might delude yourself that someone on one of the
politics groups could believe this, but then you also put it on chess
groups where everyone knows it's a preposterous lie. Sheesh.

I hope that everybody out there realizes that Taylor Kingston is
actually my publicity agent. He attacks me so that everybody will
realize that what I say is true.

<hose>

Ever modest Sam omits from his list of achievements that he is the
only candidate to have spent time in state prison, which leaves him
ideally suited to act as an agent of reform for the criminal justice
system.

Also, he forgot to mention that he won the Silver medal in the recent
world memory champsionships.

You need to answer The Question:

"Does free speech precede each and every free trade?"

Bret Cahill
Yes. I think so.

But I do not understand the reason for this question.

Bret Cahill
Yes. I think so.
It's not even anything that requires a lot of discussion.

The truth is self evident:

Discussing what is being sold or traded = free speech.

Consent = free speech.

Setting a price = free speech.
Post by samsloan
But I do not understand the reason for this question.
It concerns the most important free trade for most Americans, well
into 13 figures / year nationally.
