Now, we know the reason. Mimi Alford's new book parallels Judith
Exner's book, even to the detail of JFK introducing Exner to Dave
Powers.

Mimi Alford is to be commended for adding to our history of the this
era. She will probably not be the last JFK mistress to go public. JFK
had two other mistresses with Secret Service code names of Fanny and
Flappy or something similar plus one who was actually murdered, Mary
Meyer, plus an East German agent who was deported by RFK.

Anybody who criticizes Mimi Alford for writing this book should
consider the fact that all of the many lovers of Princess Diana wrote
about it and received big bucks for their revelations, even while
Princess Diana was still alive and married to Prince Charles.

swimming nude in the White House pool. (The White House indoor pool
was covered over and sealed by subsequent presidents because of this
scandal, but it is still there, underneath the new Press Briefing
Room.)

Was she the American version of the Riding Instructor, or the
Telephone Partner or the Bodyguard of Princess Diana, who got
the benefit of the full enjoyment of good sex by sleeping with a
beautiful woman, plus on top of that received millions of pounds
and became celebrities by writing about their experiences in bed with
Princess Diana?

Ellen Rometsch was the East German woman who was known to have been
one of JFK's mistresses. J. Edgar Hoover revealed to Robert F.
Kennedy, who was US Attorney General at the time and therefore
Hoover's boss, that Rometsch was possible a East German Communist Spy.
Upon learning this, RFK had Rometsch picked up on the street, put into
an aircraft and summarily deported to Germany. There has been no
further news on Rometsch and nobody seems to know what happened to her
after that.

Good point.

She says that she was invited to swim in the White House pool but does
not say what kind of swimsuit she wore.

It was well known even back then that JFK usually swam in the nude. If
Mimi Alford also swam nude (which seems probable as otherwise she
would have had to bring her swimming suit to work with her) that was
an easy signal to JFK that she was available for sex, which explains
why only four hours later he was easily able to take her to bed.
