Mr. Executive Director:
I object to this constant harassment of my post the USCF forums. I have filed an Advance Delegate’s motion to address this in appeal rights and the bylaws, but I would like to discuss this issue with you on the telephone Before we get into a flame war. I will not, as a member of the Board of Delegates, retract posts that relate to my official acts, and since this is in good faith, I have a right to libel and slander insurance in deliberations of the Board of Delegates. I can and will make this very speech on the floor of the Board of Delegates, and you can pay for my attorney if I am sued.
No member of any corporate board, legislature, of congress would retract statements of his official acts, made in good faith. I am not Sam Sloan, but I think your moderator has gone crazy. This is insane!
My number is 512-528-5896. I don’t understand why this man doesn’t seem to understand that the Delegates govern the corporation, the Delegates make the final call, and is not allowed under the common law of the United Kingdom at the time of the revolution to attack my comments on official business.
Get it folks: you can’t punish me for proposing to chance the policy you defend. You are trying to attack my ability to comment on business submitted to the Board of Delegates.
THIS IS CALLED OPINION. In my OPINION. OPINONS are OK!
I will call you
Sincerely,
Marcus Roberts
Member, Board of Delegates, Texas
Official Act of Marcus Roberts
It is proposed that Article VI, Section 13, shall read
Section 13. Website Access. Executive Board members and candidates for the Executive Board are subject to the same rules, restrictions and sanctions as other USCF members with regards to information posted by them on the USCF website, such as in the USCF Forums. This includes the option of temporarily or permanently banning an EB member or candidate from posting. The Elections Committee may, at its discretion and convenience, post all candidate statements as they appear in Chess Life on the USCF website. However, all USCF members shall have a right to appeal any temporary or permanent ban from posting to the forums to the USCF Board of Delegates, with the effective date of any successful appeal being the date of meeting of the Board of Delegates. [Underlined, bold faced Text inserted as the amendment].

If they are wrong, the moderators delete the thread. If I am out of line, I get banned for posting. The moderators are political volunteers, and one option here is
to shut down this forum entirely becasue we can't agree on how to operate it. I would vote to close it if it forced people back to r.g.c.p. if we can't figure out decent rules.
but the new interm ED isn't Bill Hall and has encouraged them to make peace with me, so I can't risk a breech of the peace.
The above contains several unsourced allegations, to wit:
1. Moderators behave in an unethical fashion by deleting threads where they have committed errors.
2. Moderators are political volunteers (emphasis mine).
3. Moderators have been encouraged by the interim ED to "make peace" with Mr. Roberts.
Mr. Roberts, you will need to either substantiate or retract these allegations prior to making additional posts. As a moderator, I can promise that if you are able to sustain these allegations, you will not suffer any repercussions. If, however, you continue to post without sustaining or retracting these allegations, then you will be in violation of the AUG. Please see below the relevant sections of the AUG.
